World Series of Poker mobile app transferred to Caesars Interactive.
Caesars Interactive has expanded its reach into the mobile gambling industry following the recent announcement that it has acquired the rights to the existing World Series of Poker mobile app.
WSOP Mobile Agreement
Under the agreement, Electronic Arts transfers all global rights and ownership of its World Series of Poker game for Facebook and mobile into the full control of Caesars Interactive's Playtika division. This deal dissolves a previous agreement between the various parties.
For players, nothing changes: the WSOP application continues to be available on Facebook, Amazon Kindle, Android and all Apple iOS devices. Launched one year ago, WSOP has been downloaded more than 6 million times, and the downloads don't look like stopping any time soon.
2013 WSOP Rolls On
The 2013 World Series of Poker continues to roll on in Las Vegas, with a little over half of the 62 gold bracelet events already completed. The action will continue until the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event beginning on July 6, and finishing with the November Nine final table on November 4.
This year's event is the biggest yet thanks to a number of changes, including the beginning of primary sponsorship from 888poker, one of the world's largest online poker rooms. 888poker is the live streaming providers for every event, which means you can play and watch simultaneously from their website.
