PSY's release of follow up to Gangnam Style on YouTube has bookies and punters guessing
South Korean YouTube sensation PSY this week released his follow-up to last year's hit Gangnam Style, and the move has online sportsbooks speculating about whether this one will also be a success.
Gentleman to reach 1 billion?
Following the release of Gentleman on YouTube this week, William Hill Sports is offering odds of 6/1 that the song reaches the magical target of 1 billion views by midnight on Sunday April 21, and 1/12 odds on it failing to reach the mark. They are also offering 7/4 on it reaching number one on the UK singles chart at any point.
Gentleman was released on Saturday April 13, and as of 11am on Thursday April 18 had passed 140 million hits. Gangnam Style last year became the first ever video to hit 1 billion viewers on YouTube, and it doesn't look like slowing down, with more than 1.5 billion hits at the time of Gentleman's release.
