Three Grosvenor Casinos in UK create a world-first with IGT Cloud
Three Grosvenor land-based casinos in London, Reading and Coventry created the world's first multi-location cloud casino environment when they announced they were going live with the IGT Cloud.
Casinos in the Cloud
Under the new arrangement, the three casinos will receive instant access to IGT's UK game library and enhanced analytic reporting. Thanks to data on player behavior and preferences that is transferred to them through the cloud, these casinos can make real-time decisions about which games to deploy at each terminal.
According to Grosvenor Casinos electronic gaming chief Simon Beacham, this will help deliver players the "very best gaming experiences possible." He explained that the IGT Cloud gives casinos the ability evaluate games performance and to give customers a customized gambling experience at the touch of a button.
Soon for Online Casinos?
IGT Cloud was designed to empower operators to provide seamless gaming experiences to customers who use online, mobile and land-based casinos. With the trial of this technology in the UK and other European countries, it is only a matter of time before we see it being fully implemented at the leading online casinos.
According to IGT, there are benefits for players and operators alike: It reduces capital expenditure and infrastructure requirements, delivers more innovation with less maintenance, delivers players a seamless gaming experience, encourages player engagement through tools to reward and connect them, and offers more flexibility with entertainment and bonus offers.
