Casual Connect Europe Kicks-Off in Berlin Today

Casual Connect is one of the biggest and best events for the casual games and mobile games industry and draws crowds of thousands of professionals each year at venues across the globe. From today until Thursday, Berlin will be full of the most talented and knowledgeable experts in the world of casual gaming for three days of the best networking and learning conferences in the world.

Berlin will be the host city yet again for the February installment of Casual Connect. This time around, the conference will focus on everything from innovative new Virtual Reality technology mobile games, building global gaming brands, e-Sports, casino gaming, game design, social casinos and much more.

3-Days of Innovation and Insight

Today will include dozens of presentations, discussions and lectures by a group of keynote speakers spanning many different areas of the gaming and advanced technology industries.  VR takes center stage much of the day with sessions like Mass Market VR: Lessons from the Mobile Gaming Revolution, VR Games - Key Learnings and Insights, Investing in VR and so much more. The future direction of the iGaming industry is in plain sight and with so much buzz surrounding VR technology we should start to see more and more used for online and mobile gaming soon.

Day 2 will focus more on eSports, which is also increasing in popularity amongst online and mobile players around the world. Interesting panels about eSports will take place throughout the day, which ask questions about whether or not eSports are just a phenomenon, complexity and nuances of eSports disciplines, mobile eSports and the Rise of the Competitive Indie Game and more. Esports are projected to grow to an audience of over 180 million in just two years and to a market worth of $5 billion a year later.

The final day includes panels about design and development of online and mobile games, while interesting discussions about social casinos will also be heard. There will be well over 100 keynote speakers in Berlin and even more of the industry's best developers and up and comers that will be able to gain exposure to the most beautiful games and learn how to succeed in today's market.
