Champions League Preview: Round Of 16 Leg 2 Of 2

Eight teams left to play the second leg of their round of 16 ties, with action beginning Tuesday at 20:00 GMT.

This week we will finally find out which eight teams will be advancing to the Quarter Finals of the 2019 UEFA Champions League. If the action from last week is any indication of what we are in for this week, you can expect a wild week of football ahead. The first two matches will run tomorrow at 20:00 GMT featuring Man. City vs. Schalke, and Juventus vs. Atletico Madrid. The following evening, Wednesday at the same time, Bayern Munich hosts Liverpool, and, Barcelona takes on Lyon.

Manchester City vs. Schalke 04

All eyes will be on this legendary matchup. City is at home so Schalke must bring its 'A-game' and even then, the German side is expected to lose gloriously at the hand of Man. City. The odds at bet365 Sports are so far in favor of City that a win by Schalke seems impossible. The hosts are at 1.16 for the win, while Schalke is at 19:00, and a draw is at 8.50. City is currently ahead 3-2 on the aggregate with all three goals as away goals.

Juventus vs. Atletico Madrid

Another colossal match ahead of us as the best of Italy takes on second best in Spain. Ronaldo and the team are down 0-2 after Atletico won the first leg at home. Now, with the tables turned, expect Juventus to fight for the next round. If Atletico can score even one away goal, it could be more stringent than Juventus would like to think it is. bet365 Sports has interesting outright and qualifying odds here. For the outright win, Juventus is at 1.72, while Atletico is at 5.50. To qualify, Juventus is at 4.33, while Atletico is at 1.20.

Barcelona vs. Lyon

Barcelona is the big favorites on Wednesday at 20:00 GMT, hosting Lyon. The teams are at 0-0 after a scoreless first leg in France but don't expect that to be the full-time result on Wednesday. It looks like Dembele is doubtful for the clash and the Catalans will have a major advantage. bet365 Sports posts in favor of Barca at 1.25, while Lyon is at 12.00 for the win.

Bayern Munich vs. Liverpool

Another scoreless draw in the first leg as the German side hosts Liverpool in hopes of progressing on towards the next round. The teams are evenly matched with Bayern having the home pitch, but that is really the only going for them as Liverpool is coming in healthy and hot. The odds are tight but Bayern has the outright at 2.10. Liverpool is at 3.60 for the win.
