Clarion Jumps in with Both Feet at Gaming Africa, Invites iGaming World to Follow

The society of this region stands to benefit the most from effective iGaming regulation and inclusion.

Clarion is adding its promotional expertise to the intriguing project of bringing iGaming in Africa to the international gaming space at new conference Gaming Africa.

Launch Incoming

The inaugural edition consists of a free-to-attend two-day conference taking place in Johannesburg from October 24 to 25th

Previous Experience

Clarion already has its promotional feet wet in Africa, thanks to its participation in the wildly successful World Regulatory Briefing (WrB) in Kenya earlier this year, which came on the heels of WrB Nigeria in 2015.

Responding to Market Needs

Clarion Managing Director Kate Chambers expressed organisational expectations thusly: “Wherever we operate in the world we do so at the request of the market.” Chambers cited Juegos Miami as an apt parallel example, which Chambers pointed out was launched “following requests from operators who wanted us to develop a bespoke event.”

Key Training

A key feature of Gaming in Africa will be enhanced training in the form of Clarion’s acclaimed Totally Gaming Academy master classes, which will make full training streams covering online, land based, sports betting and affiliate sectors available to attendees.

Important Regional Topics

Among key topic titles to be addressed by expert speakers at Gaming in Africa are Africa’s Growing Economy, which will discuss the influence of regional economic dynamics on the gaming industry; Payments: is Cash Still King, discussing the success of the Kenyan market’s use of Mpesa as a model for digital gaming markets in Africa; and Anti-Money Laundering and Sports Integrity, providing solutions to the largest inhibitors of progress for the African gaming industry.

Round Table Discussions

Further discussion about the external investment tools and the most effective ways to manage public relations are will be introduced across a series of innovative Regional Roundtables covering East, West and South Africa.

Outlook

Clarion appears to be effectively positioning Gaming Africa as the first great opportunity for all iGaming professionals to build relationships with investors and local operators in the intriguing and still emerging global region of Africa.
