Clarion Returns to ICE Programming with a Bang and an iGB Affiliate Next Summer

A major conference promoted by a major organiser is gleefully returning to the light in land-based presentation in June 2021.
Superpromoter Clarion Gaming has confirmed the next three-day edition of ICE London and iGB Affiliate London for June at London ExCeL for 29th, 30th June and July 1st alongside the co-located iGB Affiliate London taking place July 1st and 2nd.

Meanwhile, the dedicated conference iGB Live 2021 has been adjusted to the three days 28th September to 1st October, Amsterdam next year.

The uncertainty begat by Covid-19's impact spurred the decision to move the world’s leading gaming industry and affiliate events into the summer of 2021, with stakeholders worldwide expressing the need to for more time to let the industry and the world economy stabilise and ease of travel restrictions.
Clarion MD Chambers Speaks
Clarion Gaming Managing Director Kate Chambers explained that the “initial proposal was to migrate ICE London and iGB Affiliate London from their historical February date to April 2021 due to force majeure,” but additional adjustments wee deemed necessary in light of new updates to government measures from 22 September 2020, resulting in the further week delay to June 28th for ICE London.
Benefits of New Dates
Advantages of the later date mentioned by Chambers include “enabling the very best possible space configurations and accessibility at ExCeL London” in concert with “additional market recovery time” to “further enhance and support the delivery, outcomes and experiences for all participants.”
Clarion MD Hunter
Clarion Event MD Stuart Hunter provided further insight into the key digital leadup to the return to live events as well, called the Road to ICE and iGB 2021, a “series of digital engagements commencing in February, running through to the live events in June for the market to meet, whilst providing exclusive ICE and IGB previews.”
New Stream Launch
Hunter disclosed conference plans to broadcast ICE and IGB to a global live audience for the first time, equipped with new digital features for in-person attendees to extend the event's global reach.

With new platforms in the works for networking, learning, entertainment and business development, this hybrid mega-event bringing ICE London and iGB Affiliate London together to support the industry is sure to raise moral and kick-start the new era of iGaming's return to physical form and should not be missed by iGaming stakeholders.
