Comic Makes Casino Mogul Offer He Can't Refuse

Comedian Sarah Silverman is at it again in the leadup to the 2012 US Presidential Elections, offering to put on a bikini and "scissor" Sheldon Adelson in order to convince the casino magnate to divert $100 million in funds from Mitt Romney to Barack Obama. You have to watch to understand what she meant.

Adelson has still not responded to Silverman's offer, but it is safe to say she will have no effect on him given that he is a fully-fledged Republican and has already indicated he will back Romney. In June, the casino mogul donated $10 million to the pro-Romney PAC Restore Our Future.

Silverman may not know it, but Adelson was originally a Democrat before becoming a Republican as his wealth increased. Explaining his decision years ago, he asked why it was fair that he should pay a higher percentage of taxes than anyone else. He began contributing to the Republicans following clashes with labor unions at his Vegas properties.
