Copa America Powers Forward with Group C Matchup

Competitive online gambling odds still available prior to Peru vs Venezuela, live at 00:30 GMT.

The 2015 Copa America continues tonight featuring a hot Group C rivalry between Peru and Venezuela live from Estadio Elias Figueroa Branderon. Both teams are a longshot at moving on in the competition with both Brazil and Columbia in the group.

Peru just lost to Neymar and the Brazilians 2-1 in their first game of the tournament. It looked good for them early on, getting a great goal after only three minutes by Christian Cueva, but it was short lived as Neymar put in the equalizer two minutes later. It would’ve ended in a 1-1 draw if Douglas Costa wouldn’t have score in stoppage time giving Brazil the win.

On the other side of things, Venezuela shocked the Columbians in the first round, beating them 1-0. The sole goal scorer was Jose Salomon Rondon, which has put Venezuela in a serious position to move ahead to the knockout round. Venezuela are still in first place in the group but need another win to keep both Brazil and Columbia off their tails.

Peru have lost three of its last five games, recording a single win and one draw. Venezuela are doing much better and are the favorites to win tonight, having won four of its last five, with only one loss.

Tonight should be a close game but expect that Venezuela pulls out yet another win and will secure its position in the next round.
