Two Italian powerhouses meet up today in the semi final, as Juventus takes on Napoli tonight at 19:45 GMT.
Juventus takes on Napoli tonight in their Game 1 Semi-Final of the Coppa Italia. Juventus are truing to make it three in a row, as they are the reigning champions from the last two years. They are in excellent position to do so with a relatively healthy squad tonight, but Massimiliano Allegri, manager of the Zebras has warned about complacency, as Napoli are angry after their loss to Atalanta punt a dent in their race for the Serie A title. This could be the last chance for Napoli to get some hardware this year, but don't expect any miracles, as Juventus is strong and getting stronger.
Allegri is still planning to give Gianluigi Buffon a break tonight and give the start to Norberto Neto. We will see if this is the right decision after 90 minutes. "Neto will play again tomorrow," Allegri related. "He's a great goalkeeper and has always stepped up to the plate for us when asked. The only reason he's number two is because there's Buffon ahead of him."
Juventus is going for another double, winning both the league title and the Cup championship for the last two years. They could even push for the very rare treble, as they hammered Porto last week in the Champions League 2-0. Understanding that his chances are good, Allegri is already looking passed the 15 matches that are left for them in the Serie A, "to fill out the fixtures calendar it would be nice to get to the final of every competition."
