Michael van Gerwen is a shining star in the world of darts, having won 10 titles since his win last year in 2012's World Grand Prix. However it remains to be seen how the Dutch will deal with the doubles.

The curiosity is doubled with adversary's John Part's known skill for hitting doubles. Part's 20 years of experience in professional dart events is also to be taken in account and even if van Gerwen will show up at his best shape, it will be a real battle to behold.
