Impressionist Darcy Oake and musical act Collabro make it to the grand finale of Britain's Got Talent 2014.
Last night saw the first live semi-final of Britain's Got Talent with two happy contestants making it to the grand finale: Illusionist Darcy Oake and musical act Collabro. Darcy Oake secured his place in the final after a public vote, due to the judges being split 2-2 between him and impressionist Jon Clegg. Oake made himself disappear underneath a blanket on a platform, reappearing down below. This impressed judge Simon Cowell who said: "It's really difficult to guess how you did that, you've got an incredible stage presence, and it's believable."
Singing group Collabro secured their place in the final with the public vote as well, attracting some enthusiastic reactions from the judges. Judge Alesha Dixon said commented after the performance: "That was perfection, I love you guys," followed by Cowell who sealed the deal saying: "Britain really has got talent, congratulations."
The Britain's Got Talent semi-finals continue tonight at 7:30pm UK time with some interesting contestants including Sweetchix, The Addict Initiative dance troupe, Ricky K and the 16 year old Welsh girl Jodi Bird who already survived a put down from Cowell.
