bet365, one of the biggest gambling operators in the UK and the world, has been awarded a prestigious ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification by eCogra, an independent auditing agency with a very strong reputation in the industry.
Recognizing bet365's Commitment to Security
According to Shaun McCallaghan, COO of eCogra, auditing bet365's entire global operation, which was required prior to issuing the certification, was no small task. It took an entire team of experts who worked across multiple locations to gather all the necessary information.
Results of all the rigorous tests and inquiries were satisfactory, proving that the company was truly committed to information security, which allowed them to join the small group of other gaming operators who were able to obtain the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification.
eCogra is authorized to issue these prestigious certifications because the organization received the authorization from the UK Accreditation Service after they had successfully proven their competence in performing impartial third-party audits.
Rising Demand for Increased Safety
