EFL Cup Semi Final Match Preview and Live Odds: Manchester United vs Hull

The Football League Cup Semi-Final kicks-off tonight at 20:00 GMT with a huge match at Old Trafford.
The first leg of the EFL Cup Semi Final gets underway with a match between the Red Devils and the Tigers at Old Trafford. The last match between Man U and Hull was back in August in which United claimed a 1-0 victory at KCOM Stadium. Make no mistake! Manchester United are huge favorites tonight and will likely win this match by a solid margin, but let's take a look at the teams and their history against one another.
Manchester United is difficult to beat anywhere, let alone at Old Trafford. Even though they currently sit in 6th place in the Premier League standings, Jose Mourinho's side is one of the most dangerous sides in professional football. The United that is to be presented tonight will include Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and midfielder Paul Pogba, while Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia will also be in the lineup after missing out on the victory over Reading in the FA Cup. Making matters worse for Hull, captain Michael Dawson could be out due to a shoulder injury and Harry Maguire is also doubtful.
Will Rooney Break the Record?
Wayne Rooney is just one goal away from becoming Manchester United's all-time leading scorer, but Jose Mourinho may make the captain wait, as he is most-likely going to make a few changes for tonight. Rooney is now tied with Sir Bobby Charlton with 249, but Rooney got there in four seasons less than it took Charlton. With Liverpool on the card for United this Sunday, Rooney may have the opportunity to do it at Old Trafford then.
EFL Cup Betting Odds
The Red Devils are listed at 1.16 at bet365 Sports for the outright win tonight. A Hull victory would be a bettors dream at 21.00, but let's be realistic, Hull have lost 11 of their last 12 against United with a draw and no wins. A draw tonight would net 8.50 and bet365 Sports is offering dozens of props bets and pre-match odds, as well as live in-play betting markets throughout the match.
