Latest results of mobile gambling survey to be revealed this week.
The survey on "Awareness, attitudes and motivations - UK Mobile Gambling 2013" has just been completed, and the results are set to be revealed exclusively at the EiG conference in Barcelona this week, at 10:20 am on October 9.
Comprehensive Survey
The survey was conducted across a sample group of 2000 mobile gamblers across the United Kingdom by Clarion Events and Vivid Interface in July. This study is designed to assist mobile gaming brands in finding the right commercial strategies and reviewing their marketing performance in relation to that of their rivals.
It focused on sports betting, casino, poker and bingo players, and asked respondents about issues like brands, usage, motivation, influences, frequency of playing, amount of spending, multiple account usage and cross-over between platforms, among other things.
In its conclusion, the report examines mobile gambling activity by gender, age and socio-demographic groups. It looks at the differences between new gamblers who start playing on mobile, and older players who cross over from land-based or online casinos.
