Lyon on the other hand, has only 1 loss in the Europa League this year, 2-1 in the match with Viktoria Plzen in the last 16 which made no difference as the home team had already secured their place by winning on score 5-3.  

Lyon is desperately trying to get into 3rd place in the French Ligue 1 as a finish in 4th will not get them into the Champions League next year.  They can however close a European return through the Coupe de la Ligue as they are set to meet Paris Saint-Germain mid April.
