Europa League Match Betting: Anderlecht vs Manchester UnitedPublished April 13, 2017 by Sol FH
The Red Devils travel to Brussels tonight for their quarterfinal match with Anderlecht at 20:05 GMT.
Manchester United have one last chance to win some serious hardware this year. They have been very successful so far in this year's Europa League beating FC Rostov in the round of 16 to make it to the quarterfinals. Tonight they face the leaders of the Belgium league, against whom they have had success in the past, but they have made the 550km trip without Captain, Wayne Rooney who has been suffering from ankle injuries. Jose Mourinho has traveled with the squad that he hopes will be able to win tonight's game, setting up an easier second leg next week at Old Trafford.
Anderlecht will not be excited to face Zlatan Ibrahimovic again after he went on a scoring rampage back in his PSG days scoring five goals in just two games, including a four-goal first leg at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium during the Champions League Group Stage in 2013. Anderlecht lead the Belgium league and look excellent this year in the Europa League, but at this stage of the competition, you can bet that the Red Devils will turn things up a notch and make scoring on them, and defending their forwards a very difficult task.
Unfortunately for the home team, their top scorer Lukasz Teodorczyk will probably not be able to play in tonight's match due to a problem in his shoulder. Teodorczyk is the team's top scorer in the Europa League with five goals, tied with Ibrahimovic as the top scorers left in the competition.
