European Gaming Congress Lands in Slovenia This Fall

The inaugural European Gaming Congress is coming to Slovenia, and organizers as well as participants couldn’t be more excited!
Event Location and Aim
European Gaming Media and Events has officially announced the hosting of the inaugural European Gaming Congress on October 16th, 2018 at Ljubljana’s Grand Union Hotel (Miklošičeva cesta 1, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia) with the primary goal of highlighting key regulation updates to markets within and just outside EU borders.
Areas of Focus
Key areas of focus for the event revolve around education and networking with operators, service providers and regulators from all across Europe for senior level executives who will meet and greet industry and regulation representatives from innovating jurisdictions including Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Malta and Austria.
Key Panels
Key panel discussions identified in the preliminary agenda include Focus on Slovenia, Austria and Croatia; Highlighting the Balkans and Southeast Europe; Market updates from Mediterranean Europe; and the demonstrated effects of GDPR in the form of reports, updates and potential amendments; in addition to the widely awaited IMGL MasterClass.
The New Look
Formerly well known as EEG, the new avatar European Gaming Media and Events held its first event in Budapest on the 19th of September, 2016. The group has since expanded as a boutique media event organiser focussing on emerging markets such as Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Riga and Ljubljana to introduce inside information to the industry from the EU’s top regional gaming experts.
EGC Head Speaks
EGC Founder, Co-Owner and Head of Business Zoltan Tundik calls the event “must-attend” for the industry, specifically designed to bring together industry experts, regulators, operator and service providers for networking sessions providing delegates with the opportunity to meet and greet the faces of the EU gambling industry.
