Eventus is SPiCE-ing it UP in Goa for 2019, and Attendees Can't Wait to Emerge India

The newly released SPiCE 2019 agenda shows Eventus is kicking it up another gear to get India and Southeast Asia on the iGaming map.

The Event Details

Eventus-hosted Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference and Exhibition 2019 will be held from February 25-27 February at the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa.

Building a Foundation

The event builds on the wildly successful 2018 version formerly named Sports Betting and Gaming India Summit (SGBI) that took place from 27-8 February last year at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa.

Building on last year's progress, Eventus International has released the agenda for the newly re-branded SPiCE 2019 in Goa.

Agenda Outline

The proceedings kick off the evening of February 25 with the SPiCE Breaker, a new networking event.

Day 2

The next day representatives from diverse affiliations will discuss how emerging markets in Asia and India can offset operator decline; attraction and issues of official versus unofficial sport data; and direct and indirect taxes on gaming in India.

Expert panel discussions will include the impact of 2019 elections of the regulatory scenario for gambling and betting in India; opportunities in South Asia; and growth of online poker and poker leagues.

Official advisor to SPICE 2019 and Glaws.in founder Jay Sayta will deliver a keynote address on Day 2 discussing his role in a panel on regulatory implications of the 2019 elections on the casino industry.

The Day concludes with a SPiCE it up Poker tournament at the lavish Deltin Royal Casino.

Day 3

Day 3 February 27th will feature various discussions on what India can learn from recent regulatory progress in the US and examine how cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology can help regulate the sports betting industry in India.

Panels

Panels will include opportunities and growth in online fantasy gaming; eSports in India; need for introduction of responsible gaming practices in India, structuring and growing online skill gaming businesses in India, and opportunities, monetisation challenges and solutions in Mobile Gaming market in India.

Closing

The final day will end with a table talk networking dinner. The event is being attended by industry delegates—operators, regulators and professionals—form private and public sectors.
