Fantasy Poker Leagues App Hits Facebook

Betting on betting may sound a little metaphysical but actually it's just a game like any other. Zokay Entertainment have launched an new application called the GPI Fantasy Poker Manager on Facebook, and as the name suggests, it's a canny application based on Zokay's very own GPI ranking system- the Global Poker Index. In brief, the GPI ranks international online poker players based on tournament results. The Fantasy Poker Manager, much like Fantasy Football leagues and other virtual bets, invites players to bet on their favorite players.

Fantasy Poker Manager: How Does It Work?

Each player starts the game with a budget of $1 million; you choose your favourite online poker players and bet on them according to their 'market value' on the Global Poker Index. Depending on how they perform ( in real, online poker tournaments that is) you are awarded points on the Fantasy Poker leaderboard. 

Zokay Entertainment describe the new game as "the bridge between online poker, social poker, and live tournament poker", putting all the GPI data to use in a new, engaging game.
