Poker players on the Ongame Network can now play fast fold poker on their Android and iOS mobile devices.
The Amaya Gaming Group Inc. recently announced the launch of Strobe, a 5-handed fast fold poker concept which includes full mobile support. In addition to being available on the PC and Mac, Strobe is available to all players on the Ongame Network with an Android or iOS device.
What Is Fast Fold Poker?
In traditional cash game poker, players play against a static number of players at their tables. In the fast fold poker format, players play against a pool of players; when a player clicks the fast fold button, they are instantly moved to a new table with a new set of players. This format allows players to see over 100 hands an hour, resulting in more action than in any other form of poker.
Players not only benefit from the fast paced action of Strobe but also from a reduction of 20% in rake in this cash game format.
Fast fold poker formats have become more and more popular over the last few years since the launch of Rush Poker by Full Tilt Poker back in 2010. According to PokerScout, over 40% of online cash games are played in the fast fold format.
