Football Betting: England and Spain Meet in International Friendly

Check out the competitive odds and betting markets ahead of tonight's match between England and Spain, live at 20:00 GMT.

The Three Lions are back in action tonight against former World and European Champions Spain. This match is a friendly competition, but it will be good to see what the respective managers bring to the match. England, having beaten Scotland 3-0 just a few days ago in the European World Cup Qualifiers are looking to make a statement tonight against Spain and Gareth Southgate is confident that his men are the better team.

Spain have not really lived up to their own, and soccer critics' expectations in the last two major tournaments and making matters worse for them ahead of tonight's match, they will be without Diego Costa, Gerard Pique and even their captain Sergio Ramos. The most interesting part of the Spain roster tonight is that they have chosen to go to battle without Cesc Fabergas. Spain seem to be in a decline lately, but a victory tonight would silence many that think they have fallen off.

England are not without their own player issues. Captain Wayne Rooney will not be on the pitch to start the match, but he could be available if needed in the later stages. Jordan Henderson will captain the England ship tonight, but the last time he was promoted to captain was their 0-0 draw to Slovenia in the Qualifiers. Southgate stated, "we have several leaders. Too much responsibility has been on Wayne - we need to share that. Once you have a team of those leaders you can have a lot of success." Harry Kane will also miss the match, but on the books, England still looks like the stronger team tonight.
