Founder of Real Gaming Calls For Collaborative Approach

The GiGse conference on iGaming is taking place at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. One of the key issues facing U.S. online wagering companies is the future of legislation and the direction the industry is taking. Real Gaming founder Lawrence Vaughn is to call for a more collaborative approach to help iGaming operators reach their goals in the important U.S. market.

The Importance of Quality

Although Morgan Stanley have recently predicted that the U.S. online gambling market will be worth some $2.7 billion within 5 years, Vaughn has emphasised that the quality of the services being offered should be a higher priority than overall revenues. He believes that many people are underestimating the difficulties associated with starting an iGaming business, and are expecting to simply launch a site and wait for the cash to come in.

The reality is somewhat different, and Vaughn will be at GiGse promoting his idea that the industry should be working more closely together to push for changes to legislation in the U.S. that will bring growth.

''Building internet companies is not that simple'' said Vaughn, adding that ''There needs to be more focus and dedication to bringing together all the operators and regulators in order to pass the legislation needed for this new industry to flourish.''

About Lawrence Vaughn

Vaughn speaks with a unique authority, having been the youngest person to gain an interactive gaming license in Nevada aged just 27. In 2014, his Real Gaming company, in partnership with the South Point Hotel and Casino became the third online gambling operation in the state. A native of Las Vegas, Vaughn recognised that gambling was going to move online in a big way and ensured that his company was at the leading edge.
