FTP now ranks below Pokerstars, PartyPoker and iPoker in popularity among online poker players.
Recent reports from PokerScout.com have placed Full Tilt Poker at #4 in the most popular poker sites on the Internet ranking. FTP shot to second place in the rankings soon after being re-launched back in November but has since dropped below Pokerstars, PartyPoker and the iPoker Network.
According to PokerScout.com, FTP averaged over 6,000 real-money players at its tables after launch but that number has dropped to under 3,000.
Even though FTP is owned by Pokerstars, the number one online poker site in the world, the lack of interest in FTP by the online poker masses must be an alarming sign for the online poker giant who forked over $730 million to the U.S Department of Justice to buy the once popular poker company.
The other significant players in the online poker world are PartyPoker and iPoker which are both expected to grow in size as major operators like Betfair, Dusk Till Dawn and Ladbrokers join the iPoker network and PartyPoker continues to grow in popularity across Europe.
Other major poker sites which we highly recommend giving a try are William Hill Poker, Bet365 Poker, Poker Time and BetFair Poker. All these sites have amazing software, professional and responsive support and amazing promotions for both tournament and cash game players.
Make sure to check out our in depth reviews which cover games available, the software used by each site, promotions and much more, to find the poker site which suits you the best. Good luck at the tables.
