Verizon Wireless, the leading mobile phone operative in the U.S., has revealed that it has embarked on a new venture introducing a handful of wireless games from JAMDAT, a U.S. products maker.
Subscribers of Verizon will be able to download the wireless games to their receiver with Qualcomm, industrialized BREW {Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless} equipment. By downloading the software, it will enable subscriber's to play offline so as not shell out airtime fees. Verizon mobile phone users nationwide will be able to choose from an array of popular games. Minefield, Mummy Maze, Diamond Mine, Puzzle Penguin and also featuring, EA Sports FIFA World Cup and EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf are but a few of the games to look forward to. To add to the list of games, you'll find your basic Baseball, Football, JAMDAT Bowling and Solitaire.
As Verizon's heated new venture enters the most popular gadget owned by most Americans, Hutchison Whampa has endorsed a contract with Its Alive, a Swedish games maker, to build a wireless phone escapade game.
