GamCrowd and Clarion Advance their Partnership with ICE Totally Gaming

Pitch ICE is an event highlight, as an updated pitch competition integrated into the online platform.

A content partnership agreement between GamCrowd and Clarion Events Ltd. has resulted in the ICE Totally Gaming 2015 event. A series of events will run during the show, which will take place from February 3-5, 2015 in the Excel center in London.

Engaging Newcomers

The events are designed to engage attendees in a journey of learning and discovery, and are specifically geared towards benefitting entrepreneurs and investors in start-ups along with first-time visitors, but seek to deliver value to all stakeholders in what is shaping up to be the largest b2b gaming event in the world.

Specific Innovative Events

Specific events include Pitch ICE, a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch live on-the-spot to attendees. An initial selection process will pare all entrants down to a shortlist of event competitors who will be allotted 15 minutes of floor time to present their business concept in competing for funding.

The attendees will not be the only judges, as the slots will also be filmed for public vote for two weeks after ICE 2015 on which is the best pre-and post-funding proposition. Winners of each category will ultimately receive free access to an incubator provided by Gamcrowd for skills and expertise.

Further events include the launching of a crowd funding and crowd sourcing platform for the industry, in the form of a day of workshops and seminars led by GamCrowd CEO Chris North, chairman Ian Hogg and financial director Andrew Bowen.

GamCrowd will also host networking and one-to-one mentorship sessions for start-ups and venture capitalists from their network on an ongoing basis throughout the duration of the show.

Developing GamCrowd-Clarion Partnership

The sessions build on the previous GamCrowd and Clarion’s joint venture at EiG 2014, an event called the Start-up Zone that included a series of talks and events leading to the LaunchPad competition.

This is a chance for all entrepreneurs and start-ups to see outside the box, and understand at the systems level how to integrate their own business processes within the new field and atmosphere of iGaming.
