Gaming In Holland Returns Next Week

The Gaming In Holland event takes place next week in Amsterdam and it's a cahnce for the Dutch gambling industry to get together to review new opportunities in the local market

On June 19th and 20th, Amsterdam will be welcoming the Gaming in Holland conference, where operators from across the gambling business will take the opportunity to examine the status of the local market as it slowly opens up. The first evening sees a celebratory awards dinner event taking place, where a jersey signed by Lionel Messi will be the main prize in a charity raffle.

Regulatory Developments In Holland

Day one of the conference will focus on changes to local gambling regulations and will feature a keynote speech from the deputy head of Spanish organisation Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego. He will reflect on the growth of the Spanish market that has come about with successful legislation

Awards Dinner And Raffle

The Responsibility in Gaming Awards Dinner rounds off day one and a large number of representatives of the betting, lottery and gaming markets will be attending. Ten awards will be handed out including Best Use of Technology for Responsible Gaming Purposes, Female Role Model of the Year and Industry Innovation of the Year.

Dutch charity Fonds Gehandicaptensport, which sponsors sports for the disabled, will participate in a special raffle during the ceremony, with the Lionel Messi jersey awarded to the winner.

Closing Day

On day two, following a keynote opening by Holland Casino CEO Erwin van Lambaart, the emphasis will be on the Dutch market and the possible opening up to the retail betting sector, along with discussions on local lotteries.

The key gambling brands in Holland will also be examined, while a CEO panel is also scheduled to be run, giving attendees access to a number of the biggest names in the Dutch gambling arena.

An Historical Venue

This is the 7th Gaming in Holland event and attendees will find it in De Hallen, an historical square in the Amsterdam West district. Attendees will be given plenty of opportunities to network during this important conference that's been sponsored by major brands such as Microgaming and Ezugi.
