Genii’s Spin16 Software Could Revolutionise Online SlotsPublished June 11, 2015 by Mike P
Genii’s Spin16 slot software is a visionary concept that will give you the power to spin individual reels and rows in any direction.
Genii is the igaming software developer behind the newly launched Spin16, a visionary gaming concept that could revolutionise the way online slots are played. Spin16 is a concept that is designed to give players a superior level of control compared to standard slot games. Players with touchscreen devices will now have the power to spin each reel or row in any direction, with it possible to make 16 different spins.
Spin16 is a patented concept that allows the players to spin up or down on each of the reels, as well as left or right on each of the rows. The sheer level of interactivity is far beyond that of standard video slots, which only require players to press a spin button covering all of the reels.
Two Operators Already Signed Up
After just three weeks on the market, Genii has already managed to sign up two igaming operators for Spin16, plus the developer’s entire library of 130 casino games. Dukes Casino-owner Continental and Unis Limited, both of which are situated in Malta, are the first two operators.
Genii sales director Nick Barr expects more operators follow the deals struck with Continental and Unis. Barr described the response to Spin16 as “phenomenal,” adding “[Genii’s] in talks with a number of leading operators and discussions are already at an advanced stage.”
The plan is for Genii and Barr to “[meet] with lots of people at the iGaming Supershow in Amsterdam later this month to show just why Spin16 is the most revolutionary slots concept seen in a long time.”
To that end, the multi-directional design of the software is complemented by second-phase results that can apply multipliers to any of the paylines when the house pick is matched. Moreover, it is possible to follow the direction that is currently spinning hottest or coldest. Genii’s Spin16 slots are presently supported on Android, Apple, and Windows.
