Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to continue its strong start to this Bundesliga season. Werder Bremen's start of this Bundesliga season was unimpressive to say the least. The team finished its first two games with draws against Hertha Berlin and Hoffenheim respectively. Defense seems shaky and the team's possession of the ball requires improvement.
Werder seems to rely mostly on counter-attacks and against a skilled team with a solid defense like Leverkusen it might not work. Last season Leverkusen beat Werder at the BayArena 2-1. Leverkusen is the clear favorite to take this game, even with the injuries with which it deals.
