Giants vs. Cowboys: Monday Night Football Preview And Betting Lines

The New York Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys to close out Week 9 of the NFL regular season, at 1:15 GMT tonight.
It was a very wild week in the NFL. All but one of the league's top teams fell to the underdogs, leaving the San Fransisco 49ers the sole team without a loss this year. Even the Patriots, who looked unstoppable, were beaten by the Baltimore Ravens 37-20 in a wild twist of events.
Tonight, we have a major matchup in the NFC East between the Giants and the Cowboys. The Cowboys currently lead the NFC East with a record of 4-3, while the Giants are back in 3rd place with a losing 2-6 record. Dallas is favored to win in primetime tonight, but, don't count New York out just yet as they are hungry for a win to attempt to save their season.
This is the second game of the year between these teams. In Week 1, Dallas played the Giant-Killers and won 35-17. The Giants season looked grim, but they were able to beat the Buccaneers and the Redskins on the way. They have had some signs of life, but, too far and few between. The best news for NY is that they are now finally healthy. Saquon Barkley, Golden Tate, and Sterling Shepard, and Evan Engram are back in the lineup.
Dallas has been good. Not excellent, but good. The biggest problem for Dallas has been inconsistency. They have not been a consistent team and have lost some games that they could have easily won. For the Cowboys, getting this win on-the-road will seriously improve its grasp over their division. A winning Cowboys season has not been seen in quite a while, but this year will be the difference.
