The iGaming industry is excited as yet another Global Gaming Expo (G2E) is just around the corner. One of the major iGaming events, presented by the American Gaming Association, G2E gathers industry experts, insiders, and developers, allowing them a unique opportunity to catch up on the latest trends and exchange thoughts and ideas.
Taking place under the motto "by the industry and for the industry," G2E is open to everyone involved with iGaming and it offers an unparalleled networking environment.
G2E Important Info
This year's Global Gaming Expo will take place in Las Vegas, between September 27 and 29, with Global Gaming Awards ceremony taking place a day earlier, on September 26. Presented by the American Gaming Association and organized by Reed Exhibitions, G2E 2016 will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
What To Expect From This Year's G2E
G2E tries to provide a full-scale, in-depth coverage of the iGaming industry, not focusing only on casino games, but encompassing everything from slots and table games to general iGaming, hospitality services, food, and beverages. By doing this, G2E strives to provide a full 360-degree view of the industry.
This year's Global Gaming Expo will feature a number of exhibitions, featuring presentations and speeches from all sorts of industry insiders, from game development, casino operations and marketing, and security & surveillance to hotels, entertainment concepts, and consulting services.
Who Will Attend?
G2E always represents a meeting of Who's Who of the industry. This year will be no different in that regard, as a number of experts from different relevant iGaming fields will gather to exchange ideas and share their experiences.
David J. Stern, NBA Commissioner Emeritus, is one among many notable speakers. On September 29, Mr Stern will have a conversation with the Geoff Freeman, AGA President and CEO, discussing the future of sports betting and the evolution of the NBA brand over the years among other things. His valuable insights into creating strategic partnerships and thoughts on corporate social responsibility should not be missed.
Gaming Standards Association, presided by Peter DeRaedt, will hold its Annual Meeting during G2E. The GSA have been working tirelessly for nearly two decades on creating standards for the gaming industry and they will be celebrating their 18th anniversary on September 28. All those interested are welcome to join the meeting, provided they register ahead of time. The registration is completely free and those attending will get glimpses into the GSA's vision and their plans for expanding global cooperation.
International Game Technology PLC, better known in the industry by the acronym IGT, will use the opportunity provided by G2E to present a full spectrum of gaming solutions. IGT announces they will reveal numerous gaming innovations in their G2E booth, demonstrating their determination to keep up with the iGaming industry, taking full advantage of possibilities provided by the new technologies on the market.
Global Gaming Awards 2016
G2E 2016 will kick off with the Global Gaming Awards ceremony, set to take place on September 26 at the Venetian. The awards will go to the most deserving businesses and organizations in the industry, divided in twelve different categories. A panel of judges will make their decisions based on the shortlist of candidates presented to them prior to the awards ceremony.
Some of the categories that the judges will vote one are: Best Online Operator, Best Casino Design, Best Mobile Solution, etc. As expected, industry giants like Playtech, bet365, Microgaming, and IGT earned their places on several shortlists of candidates in different categories.
