Leading iGaming supplier Aspire Global has achieved a key betting license in Denmark which should further increase the company's industry profile.
The Danish Gambling Authority DGA has awarded Stockholm-based Aspire Global with a betting license on the heels of Aspire subsidiary North Macedonia-based BtoBet's platform certification according to DGA requirements.
Aspire Global's new betting offerings for Danish market players will complement Aspire's current casino offerings, with bets passing through BtoBet’s sportsbook.
Aspire's History in Denmark
Aspire is no stranger to the Danish market casino scene, having offered its first casino vertical to the jurisdiction back in 2012—offerings which were enhanced when Global acquired BtoBet and its proprietary sportsbook in October 2020.
The deal opens the door for Denmark operators to take full advantage of BtoBet’s leading player-centric sports technology and features.
Aspire Across the Globe
Aspire Global is well established internationally. Besides Denmark, Aspire Global operates in 30 regulated markets across Europe, America and Africa, including key jurisdictions US; UK; Denmark; Portugal; Spain; Ireland; Nigeria; Colombia; and Mexico.
Aspire's BtoBet brand has already established a strong presence in Latin America and Africa and is currently focusing on expansion into the prominent US and European markets.
Aspire CEO Strategy
Aspire Global CEO Tsachi Maimon was effusive in lauding the acquisition at the time, providing an effective perspective on the strategic significance of this latest license in Denmark:
“Our offering has been considerably bolstered up by the acquisition of BtoBet and its proprietary sportsbook” said Maimon in August 2020 at the time of the BtoBet acquisition.
He also cited his organization's vision of “significant growth opportunities” which would be achieved through “both existing partners and new customers across the world” through “a leading comprehensive gaming offering covering the technology platform, sportsbook, games, games aggregation, and managed services.”
Aspire's Proprietary Platform
The aforementioned features are ostensibly preserved in the proprietary technology platform Aspire Core, whose built-in flexibility is being expanded to the sportsbook clientele in Denmark as the latest step in an ongoing expansion process identified by Maimon ten years ago.
The Danish license award for sports betting reaffirms the credibility of Aspire Global as a premier builder and operator of successful large-scale casino and sportsbook brands.
