GTECH G2 Enters Spanish Online Gambling Market

Leading interactive gaming software and services provider GTECH G2 will enter the Spanish online gambling market in a big way, after announcing the signing of a group of 12 new clients this week.

GTECH G2 said in its announcement that it will supply software and services, such as its new mobile solution and enhancing Gaming Management System, to leading land-based, media and online gaming companies.

Its Spanish clients already included Sportingbet and bet365, and following the deal now includes local operators such as Casino Barcelona Grup Peralda, Suertia, Grupo Arenes, Acrismatic, Grup Comar and Winga.

'Exciting opportunity'

Regulatory changes in the Spanish market represent "an exciting opportunity" for the GTECH G2 group, CEO Walter Bugno said. He added that the company was proud to partner with new and existing partners and would cooperate with them to ensure they take a leading position within Spanish online gambling when regulations come into effect.

Casino Barcelona Grup Peralda CEO Xavier Picola said his company wanted to ensure it had a partner that would enable it to protect and expand its existing reputation and enhance its relationship with its players. "Working with GTECH G2 allows us to do this," he added.
