Game Mechanics
In the Hey Sushi slot, players are introduced to a prideful crab who works as head chef for a cartoon sushi bar. An array of delicacies are then presented on the main interface, which utilises five reels and three rows to present symbols.
Before playing, Hey Sushi has a wagering system in which the coin value and betting level can be modified. While the coin value goes from €0.01 up to €20.00, the betting level can be raised from one to 10. What will also be factored into the betting value are the 25 fixed paylines included by Habanero.
Hey Sushi has also received a cascade feature that facilitates the removal of winning symbols. Any remaining symbols will fall into new positions, if available, while the empty spaces above shall be plugged by cascading symbols dropping down from above. A sequence of cascading wins can cause the on-screen multiplier trail to climb through 1x, 2x, 3x, and 5x.
Bonus Features
The first and most basic special feature would be the crab wilds that can sub for most of the symbols, barring only the scatters. The scatters can be lucrative when matched, but will also provide free spins if three or more happen to land in any position on the screen.
In free spins, bonus payouts are awarded for high-value symbols when they appear in a winning combination for a payline. Habanero has also given Hey Sushi the ability to upgrade the multiplier trail for free spins. Basically, the higher the cascade upon entry to free spins, the higher the multiplier trail will be (for example, 5x, 7x, 10x, or 15x).
