Highlights from Comic Con 2014

The 2014 Comic Con convention in San Diego wrapped up Sunday, seeing attendance by some 100,000 people in 500 separate events. The convention ground itself was massive as the events took place in a hall stretching 460,000 square feet. Here are some some of the top highlights.

Batman vs. Superman

The hyped "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to hit theaters only in May 2016. Director Zack Snyder appeared together with main actors Ben Affleck who plays Batman, Henry Cavill who plays Superman, and Gal Gadot who wore her role's actual costume – Wonder Woman. The crowd was treated with a sneak peek by Snyder but there were no questions as the bunch returned to filming.

Mad Max Trailer

The 1979 cult post-apocalyptic flick starring Mel Gibson Mad Max is set to be rebooted next year with the release of Mad Max: Fury Road. Convention goers got a very impressive first look at the intriguing movie which stars Tom Hardy in the main role as Mad Max.

The Walking Dead Season 5

Zombies are still very much alive with AMC's hit show The Walking Dead returning for a fifth season this October. The season will follow Rick Grimes and his buddies as they deal with the challenge of the Terminus group which holds them captive.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Guardians of the Galaxy is hitting theaters this week and film star Chris Pratt confirmed that a sequel is already in the works. The first film is currently enjoying a 9.0 rating in IMDB.
