Horse racing fans are stoked as the Hennessy festival enters its third and final day which will culminate with the highlight race, The Hennessy Gold Cup Steeple Chase (3pm UK time).

The Hennessy Gold Cup is thought to be one of the most prestigious and anticipated chases by fans and punters. Today will mark the 58th edition of the race which is run over 3 miles and 2.5 furlongs with some 23 entries in attendance. In 2013, the prize purse for the race was £175,000 with £95k for the first place.
