Horse Racing Odds: Tight Competition at BetBright Cup ChasePublished January 24, 2015 by Amir G
The BetBright Cup Chase kicks off 13:50 UK time at Cheltenham with eight strong horses running for the first place.
Cheltenham's horse racecourse is the place to be today as the BetBright Cup Chase shoots off 13:50 UK time. This Grade Two chase is run over three miles and a furlong with 21 fences to jump and a winning purse worth £100,000. There are eight horses fighting for the first place today and the competition's going to be very tight.
Second Win for The Giant Bolster?
Last year's winner, the David Bridgwater-trained The Giant Bolster will look to secure a second win in a row. The 10-year old Giant came in fifth at Haydock Park's Betfair Chase back in November, and Bridgwater says that the horse is prepared for the chase. However bookies are not rating him the highest in terms of odds: in bet365 Sports he is 8/1 to win.

The Giant Bolster will have very tough competition today, looking at the antepost odds offered by bet365. Dynaste is 9/4 to win: last year he won the Grade One Rayanair Chase and finished runners-up on Boxing Day at the King George VI chase at Kempton Park. In 2014 chases alone, Dynasty hasn't finished anywhere above third place – what makes him a very good bet.
Next to Dynaste we have Many Clouds who is 11/4 to win. Many Clouds is riding on the success of finishing first in November's Hennessy Gold Cup. Prior to the Hennessy win, Many Clouds finished first in the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase. Two other strong competitors to look for are Smad Place with 4/1 and Holywell with 11/2.
