ICE Totally Gaming 2017 has confirmed that representatives from 67 jurisdictions and sovereign states shall be at the upcoming exhibition, lasting from 7-9 February. When revealing the numbers, ICE 2017 organiser Clarion Events responded by declaring the exhibition “The United Nations of gaming”.
Malta Leads the Exhibitors
The organiser also revealed that 10 jurisdictions/states (not including the UK) have supplied enough representatives to reach double digits. At the top, Malta leads the way with an astonishing 46 exhibitors, while the USA has supplied 37. The Isle of Man comes next with 23 representatives, having enjoyed a storied history of success as an igaming jurisdiction.
Beyond those three leaders, it appears that Italy (19), Germany (13), and Spain (12) are upping their efforts in the igaming market. Then there are other European countries where igaming aspirations are on the rise, with Slovenia accounting for 12 representatives, the Czech Republic 11, and Austria 11 – meanwhile, Taiwan has sent an impressive 11.
ICE 2016 was a huge success after attracting 28,487 visitors from all over the world. Based on the early attendance figures, it would seem that the 2017 exhibition has a chance of also generating impressive numbers.
Starting February 2017
Those attending ICE 2017 will arrive in London for three days of exhibitions, presentations, and networking parties when they spend three days at the ExCeL centre based in the city’s Docklands area. For 2017, the event has embraced William Shakespeare in its marketing materials, with the organiser even sending out an advance quiz to stir excitement.
In terms of scope, there will be widespread possibilities for anybody working in the igaming industry. Fields like casino, mobile, and sports betting will generate major interest, but there will also be opportunities for those based in bingo, lottery, and other areas. Along with the exhibition floor, there will be numerous chances to attend insightful presentations.
