ICE 2018: Microgaming Announces Partnership with Triple Edge Studios & New Playboy Gold Slot

Triple Edge Studios are just the first of a number of independent studios Microgaming plans to partner up with to improve their offering of games.
Microgaming, one of the leading casino software developers, took the opportunity at ICE 2018 to officially announce their new partnership with Triple Edge Studios. The deal with this independent game studio guarantees its team will create exclusive content for Microgaming.
More Choice and Innovation
Triple Edge Studios are just the first of the new generation of independent game developers. By branching out in this way, the company hopes to offer more choice and innovation for its large player base and provide them with the best possible gaming experience.
Moving forward, each of the independent studios working with Microgaming will focus on different types and styles of games. By doing so, they will ensure the needs of Microgaming customers are met, significantly increasing the number of titles in the process.
This was confirmed by Roger Raatgever, Microgaming's CEO, who said that Triple Edge Studios are just the first of a number of exclusive providers to be announced. Although it is a new and ambitious strategy, Raatgever believes it is the one that will ensure Microgaming stays one of the industry leaders.
Kicking Things Off with New Playboy Slot
Like it was announced earlier, the first game to come out as a fruit of this partnership is a new Playboy slot entitled Playboy Gold. With this game, Microgaming continues the successful cooperation with the Playboy brand that's been going on since 2013.
The Playboy Gold slot, launching on March 7, will have six reels and a number of base game and bonus features. This, combined with the brand's popularity, should ensure the new slot is well received by the players, offering them a lot of entertainment.
Brendan Walton of Triple Edge Studios was thrilled because of the fact the new studio was launching during ICE, one of the biggest industry events. He said they were all proud to be an exclusive game supplier for an industry giant like Microgaming and explained that Playboy Gold is just a sign of great things to come as a result of this partnership.
