Ice Hockey World Championships

The IIHF began a few days ago and there have already been some great goals, amazing plays and huge upsets.  One of the biggest upsets of all time, let alone this tournament was team France defeating the Olympic champions, team Canada 3-2 in OT leaving them at 1-1.  The Czech's are also 1-1 with a similar loss in OT to team Sweden but both teams are fired up for tonight's game.

Belarus has been an amazing host for the 2014 Championships and teams are feeling right at home.  With the NHL playoffs in full gear it has left the fans in Belarus with no shortage of professional hockey talent to get a glimpse of.  

Tonight's game is a must win for both teams to secure a better place in the next round.  The games so far have been incredibly high scoring; in Canada's games they have scored 6 goals total as have the Czech's and nothing is more exciting than a high scoring, hard hitting hockey game.
