The world-famous ICE brand, known as ICE Totally Gaming in Europe, will be coming to the United States in November 2018 under the title ICE Sports Betting USA. The event will be organized by Clarion Gaming and will take place in New York on November 27 and 28. This will be the first time that the ICE brand exhibits in the United States.
Why Now?
The announcement of ICE Sports Betting USA closely followed the repeal of PASPA - the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act - by the Supreme Court just one month ago. PASPA was instituted in 1992 and prevented almost every state in the U.S. from offering legal sports betting. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had been challenging the law for years, and in May 2018 the Supreme Court ruled in his favor, making it legal for all U.S. states to offer legal sports betting should they choose to do so.
ICE Sports Betting USA will outline opportunities for the international sports betting community, which the United States can now become part of.
