Effective stakeholder satisfaction data maps out the road to ICE improvement as well.
ICE has placed in the Top 3 in UK business to business exhibitions according to advanced quality control metric Net Promoter Score (NPS).
The Scores
Counting Apple, Amazon and eBay among its quality improvement clients, Fusion scored ICE with a quality metric of NPS +53 amongst exhibitor decision makers and +39 amongst visitors for 2016, a figure which places ICE 2016 in the top three UK business exhibitions for the year.
The Rating
Fusion Director Phillip Redwood describes the NPS as a rating of “the willingness of respondents to recommend the event to their peers or colleagues.” He further clarified that ICE´s top 3 finish “is way ahead of the event industry average.”
Clarion´s Forward Strategy
A pleased Kate Chambers, Managing Director of the gaming division at ICE organizer Clarion Events, was nonetheless not surprised by the result in light of record attendance for the year, asserting that her company was committed to identifying and addressing “the aspects of the customer experience which failed to live up to the standards we set.”
Addressing any shortcomings is consistent with Clarion´s policy of continuous improvement, calling “Fusion´s research programme…central to achieving this.”
Data
Survey data which factored into the rating includes response surveys from Exhibitors and Visitors, with 98% of exhibitors surveyed agreed that ICE was an important event on the industry calendar and 96% saying they left with a positive feeling about the event. The strongest response from Visitors was the belief expressed by 95% of them that ICE was in tune with the market, with 93% further agreeing that ICE was continuing to meet or surpass expectations.
Prestige
The high level of stakeholder satisfaction is an effective indicator of the magnitude of achievement that the Top 3 finish represents, serving as a reminder that exhibitions need to focus with equal rigor on both attendee and exhibitor preference to best support the iGaming industry.

The next ICE program is ICE Totally Gaming 2017, taking place February 7-9 at London´s Excel.
