Published July 24, 2017 by Sol FH
Two of the strongest teams in Europe in a friendly battle at 13:05 GMT, as part of the ICC.
The International Champions Cup continues today with a huge match between Inter Milan and Lyon. The teams will be playing at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center in Nanjing, China, and we should all be watching very closely to see the key changes that both teams have made this summer. Lyon may have got the shorter end of the stick, as they lost two of their to players. At Inter, Luciano Spalletti has taken over as manager and the former Roma boss will be shooting to improve on his draw his last time out.
Inter were held to a 1-1 draw against the Bundesliga, Schalke 04 in their last friendly. Center-back Jeison Murillo hit one of the nicest goals one could ever wish for, but he was the only one for Internazionale. Inter Milan could lose a key player in Ivan Perisic to Manchester United, as the Red Devils have shown interest for him.
It may take awhile for Lyon to get used to life without their former star striker, and new Arsenal recruit, Alexandre Lacazette. It seems like they are doing quite well for the meantime having recorded victories against Celtic and Ajax respectively.
Bruno Genesio, coach of Lyon brought new Chelsea loan, Bertrand Traore, an new players Marcelo and Mariano Diaz. Memphis Depay has also come for the trip.
