Germany vs. Cameroon, 19:30 UK time.
The Borussia-Park stadium in Manchengladbach sees national team Germany host the national team of Cameroon for a pre-World Cup friendly.
Germany
As always, the German team is aiming high for this upcoming World Cup after failing time and time again to secure the cup at the highest elimination levels. Manager Joachim Low currently has a very young team with an average of 21.5 years, many of them having their international debut. Germany's last international friendly against Poland ended a nil-nil draw and the Mannschaft will be looking to leave a better impression today at the home court.
Germany's offense will include key players like 2010 World Cup Golden Boot winner Thomas Muller and midfielder Marcus Reus who has seven goals to his name in nineteen games he played for his national team.
Cameroon
Cameroon has become a regular contestant at the World Cup, with Brazil 2014 being its seventh appearance. Cameroon has had a recent change of managers, with the German Volker Finke stepping into the role. He has not been doing so well, seeing that his team has won only four out of eleven games. Cameroon will depend on international star Samuel Eto'o, a veteran of three World Cups who has lifted the Champions League cup three times in his career. Eto'o will be aided by FC Barcelona midfielder Alex Song, a swift attacker known for his pin-point passes.
