Weswit, a leader in real-time date streaming solutions, and Wirex, a leader in iGaming software solutions, are working together to empower innovative live casino platforms through their Lighstreamer real-time data streaming technology.
Introducing Lightstreamer
Lightstreamer, the flagship product of Italian firm Weswit, is a scalable solution for pushing live data over WebSockets and other web protocols with millions of users. Fellow Italian company Wirex has already deployed Lightstreamer at its famous Maltese land casino Portomaso.
The technology is set to impact the world of online casino, as Wirex offers live casino, RNG casino and sports betting platforms. The company has offices in Italy and Malta and partners with a number of major players in the online gambling industry, including Sportingbet, PKR, Pkaybet and Mybet.
How Does It Work?
According to Wirex CTO Alessandro Negro: "Live casino platforms must handle huge volumes of frequently updated date to keep the user interface responsive and offer players a pervasive and truly ‘live' gaming experience. The overall complexities are drastically higher compared to a standard RNG online casino."
He added: "Lightstreamer simplified the overall software architecture for real-time data transfers, and allowed us to release a robust iGaming application in a short space of time, with everything working perfectly from the beginning."
