La Liga: Valencia Vs. LevantePublished June 12, 2020 by Sol FH
Is Spanish Primera League weekend as the league is back in action with a key matchup between Valencia and Levante tonight at 21:00 GMT.
La Liga is back and fans across the world are thrilled for its return. Spain was one of the hardest hit of all European countries, and La Liga was postponed on March 10th. Now, things are back, albeit behind closed doors, but that doesn't mean we will not be able to watch the best of the league from home.
In tonight's big key match-up, we've got Valencia taking on Levante at Mestalla Stadium and Valencia will be looking to close the gap on the top four. Their local rivals, Levante, currently in 13th place is set on improving its position before the end of the season and they have the potential to improve upon their current standing.
Los Che is currently four points off fourth-placed Real Sociedad and with 11 games left they will need to win as many as possible in order to achieve the top four. Levante can improve into the top-ten and potentially even better if they begin to show what they can do.
Albert Celades's side has lost just seven times in the league this season but is very much in the race for a Champions League berth. They are only 5-points off of third-place Sevilla. They are unbeaten in Spain's top flight at the Mestalla this season, winning eight and drawing six of their 14 fixtures.
Los Che has been victorious in the last two Valencian derbies.
