Ladbrokes has launched its long awaited Playtech-powered digital platform.
The move is designed to harness the online bookmaking market through unifying customer experience across all forms of play—desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
The new platform represents the first omni-channel offering. It will streamline the development of the Ladbrokes sportsbook product roadmap into one single workstream according to front-end technology from Playtech subsidiary Mobenga. The new Playtech platform should improve the speed and efficiency of product delivery considerably.
Desktop Capability Expanded
Ladbrokes desktop sportsbook will be supported by the new Ngen system from Playtech Sports, an expanded and diversified solution which will handle exponentially greater amounts of betting data across concurrent sporting events and betting markets numbering into the thousands.
Ladbrokes will have increased control over layouts and accelerate load times with the new technology, with the new innovations timed to promote football betting ahead of the start of the 2015/16 season.
Playtech Drives Market Competition
