UK sportsbetting giant Ladbrokes, is gearing up to welcome a new director at the end of October 2013.
New Non-Executive Director at Ladbrokes
The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arriva , David Martin, will be joining the prestigious Ladbrokes team as a non-executive director effective October 31, 2013.
This news comes hot on the heels of the decision made by John Jarvis regarding his retirement from the board at the Ladbrokes annual general meeting of 2014.
The decision was announced earlier in 2013.
A Wealth of Experience with Arriva CEO
David Martin brings many years of top-level directorial experience to the arena. He is especially well noted for his in-depth understanding of the complexities of international operations management.
The chairman of Ladbrokes - Peter Erskine - reiterated his delight at having David Martin on board as a non-executive director. This is particularly notable given the management challenges that Ladbrokes is dealing with in the group's development.
