Last 2014 Premier League Matchup: Liverpool Hosts Swansea City

Liverpool vs Swansea City live tonight at 20:00 (GMT), as both teams look to enter 2015 on a winning note.

The rivalry between Liverpool and Swansea City is heating up and has made for some incredible competitions so far. Coming into tonight’s game, the last Premier League match of 2014, both teams are coming off wins from their Boxing Day matches. Liverpool bested Burnley, while Swansea beat Aston Villa. Liverpool has won only two of their last eight Premier League matches at home. The last three matches between these teams has seen 16 goals, making for very entertaining match-ups.

LiverPool and Swansea City Starting Lines

Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool’s manager had dropped Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet earlier this season, but has had to call him back after an injury to Australian keeper Brad Jones' thigh. Dejan Lovren, Glen Johnson, and Jon Flanagan are still not fit to play, which could pose a problem for the Red’s defense.

For the visitors, Jefferson Montero is still out following a hamstring injury against Aston Villa. Manager Garry Monk is working out squad rotations including Jazz Richards, Bafetimbi Gomis, Tom Carroll and Wayne Routledge.
