Last Chance for Tottenham to Push for League Title in Chelsea Meeting

The last match of Matchday 36 pits Chelsea vs Tottenham at Stamford Bridge tonight at 20:00 GMT.

The league title could be decided tonight if Chelsea can defeat Tottenham at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are in the position to play the role of spoiler, as a win by them tonight would mean that Leicester would mathematically win the league for the first time in their clubs' history.

The Spurs are still holding on to the very thin rope that could lead to their first league title since 1961, but even if they do win tonight, it is almost certain that Leicester will win this year. If the Spurs are not victors tonight, it would be the second time in a row that the league has been decided due to a match at Stamford Bridge, as last year Chelsea were league champs after beating Crystal Palace 1-0.

Leicester were disappointed after last night's draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford, but it is safe to say that fans may forget that they were only a couple games away from dropping out of the Premier League last year. To draw with United at Old Trafford is difficult for any team but Leicester is having that kind of season.

Head to Head

It was way back in 1990 the last time that Tottenham beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Even though the Blues are not having the season that they thought they would, they are still strong at home and want to keep the league titles away from the Spurs. Chelsea is keen to win, as they have not won a league game in the last three at home, with two draws and one loss.

Tottenham are on fire over their last 14 league matches, winning ten and drawing thrice. They have only conceded two goals in their last six matches and they have a league-high 23 goals off set plays this year.

Bet365 Sports is all over this match and has the best pre-game and in-play odds to choose from. The outright odds are way too close to make it very profitable, as Chelsea are at 2.75 and Tottenham are at 2.62, but there are literally hundreds of odds to choose from.
